Delta Airlines predicts “stalled growth” amid recession fears

(CNN)– Delta Air Lines is warning investors that the current trade war is causing turbulence for the airline.

In its quarterly earnings report Delta said revenue will likely fall this quarter, and that its expected growth has stalled.

The airline initially forecasted revenue to rise at least 7% in quarter 1.

Instead, it grew just over 3%, and quarter 2 will be even slower.

Despite the busy summer travel season Delta says it may only gain 2% in revenue, or could even drop by the same amount.
