Join the party at 36th Annual Harambee Festival this month!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready to raise the roof at Benedict College for a big party going down this month!
The 36th Annual Harambee Festival starts Saturday, April 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Charlie W. Johnson Stadium.
Curtis spoke with Benedict’s Assistant Vice President Kymm Hunter about what you can expect at the event!
You can enjoy several stage performances, including from the headliner, R&B singer Jon B., along with cultural villages, delicious food, shopping, and free health screenings.
The Harambee Festival Community Choir and the Benedict College Alumni Gospel Choir Concert starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at the Antisdel Chapel.
They will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the hit Gospel song “Say the Word.”
