Plant the seeds to success at the G.R.O.W. Farm in Columbia
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – You and the family can take part in a new initiative that uses a special garden to help plant the seeds for success in the community!
The kickoff event for the G.R.O.W. (Growing Resiliency, Opportunity and Wellness) Farm is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 216 Singleton Drive.
Curtis spoke with the owner, Dr. Lisa Kershaw, & Jennifer Cunningham about how the farm brings the community together through workshops, agricultural job skill programs & much more to build a better future.
The event will have seedling sales, a community planting event & a free workshop for the best practices for eco-friendly gardening.
Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford will attend the ribbon cutting.
