AG Wilson joins letter demanding abandonment of DEI initiatives in leading companies

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Attorney General Alan Wilson is calling on the nation’s top businesses to abandon all diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Wilson has joined a letter with 14 other attorney’s general urging the Business Roundtable, an association of the nation’s leading companies, to abandon DEI initiatives.

Wilson calls the practice costly and divisive.

Costco is among the businesses continuing its DEI practices, a statement from the company’s board reads, “our commitment to an enterprise rooted in respect and inclusion is appropriate and necessary”.
