Dr. Battle-Bryant confirmed Dir. of SC Workforce Development

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The first director of the Office of Statewide Workforce Development has been confirmed.

Dr. Rebecca Battle-Bryant was appointed by Governor Henry McMaster last year.

She’s held numerous positions in workforce development.

The position is tasked with coordinating, aligning, and directing workforce efforts across the state.

Governor McMaster says Dr. Battle-Bryant’s experience will “help us build a more coordinated workforce development system, serving as a powerful tool as we bring even more investment and good-paying jobs to South Carolina.”
