Kershaw Co. coroner releases name of person who died after Friday morning motor-vehicle incident

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County Coroner’s Office has released the name of person who died after a motor-vehicle incident on Friday morning, said the coroner’s office.

The coroner’s office said a 911 call was received around 2:20 a.m. on Friday, April 18, about a motor-vehicle incident on Doc Humphries Road in Camden.

According to Coroner David West, the deceased who was identified as 28-year-old Patrick Evans was driving a pick-up truck.

Evans was from rom the McBee, South Carolina area.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
