Police: Teen arrested for fatal shooting at fast food restaurant

Columbia Police say a 16 year old got into an argument with a 34 year old victim in the parking lot of Arby's on Garners Ferry Rd.

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police say a 16 year old got into an argument with a 34 year old victim in the parking lot of Arby’s on Garners Ferry Rd.

Police say the argument turned into a fight and the teen shot and killed the victim.

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford identified the victim as Aaron J. Weibel, 34, of Camden.

Authorities say the Richland Co. Coroner’s Office is assisting in the investigation.

“We will continue working with the Columbia Police Department to fully investigate this homicide.” Coroner Rutherford states.
