Richland County partners with Transitions Homeless Center to help people in need
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County is partnering with Transitions Homeless Center to help people in need in the Midlands.
On Monday, April 21, county officials held a news conference to highlight the accomplishments of Transitions Homeless Shelter.
Since it opened in 2011, officials say Transitions has housed more than four thousand clients.
The facility provides addiction, mental health, and employment assistance.
Transitions also provides three wholesome meals every day of the year, with an average of 575 meals served daily.
