COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia PD have arrested a Richland County registered sex offender with indecent exposure, say the police dept.
Officers say 56-year-old Joey Leaphart is accused of exposing himself in public at the intersection of Maple Street and Millwood Ave on Monday.
A judge set Leaphart’s cash surety bond at $25K.
Investigators say if the suspect is released from the detention center, he must wear a GPS device, and can only attend church, seek medical attention, or legal counsel.
