Lexington Co. Coroner identifies person who died in single-vehicle collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died in a single-vehicle collision in the Lexington area of Lexington County, said the coroner’s office.
The collision happened in the 1300 block of Nazareth Road on Monday, April 21.
According to Coroner Fisher, Christopher Areheart, 70, of Lexington was traveling northbound on Nazareth Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, hit a utility pole, and then a tree.
Areheart was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the collision.
