UPDATE: Fairfield County deputies capture suspect in manhunt
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office says they have captured a suspect following a manhunt Thursday.
Emanuel Lasalle Walker Hoskins was wanted in connection with an incident, where DNR initiated a stop in the area of the boat landing on Highway 215 in Jenkinsville.
Deputies say Hoskins was taken into custody without incident.
In North Carolina, Mecklenburg County deputies say Hoskins was arrested last month on multiple charges, including domestic violence and probation violation.
The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office K9’s as well as SLED K9’s were also part of the search.
They are still investigating.
