DHL to restart global shipments to U.S.

(CNN)– Global shipping company DHL says it will re-start shipments worth more than $800 from businesses to consumers in the U.S.

The resumption is effective immediately.

Earlier this month, DHL temporarily suspended those shipments.

The company said the move was due to a “significant increase” in red tape at customs following the introduction of President Trump’s tariffs.

DHL now says those customs regulations have been adjusted, after they had a constructive dialogue with U.S. officials.
