RCSD: 6 vehicles stolen over the weekend

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are reminding people to lock their vehicle and keep their keys with them after several vehicles were stolen over the weekend, said RCSD.

Deputies said between Friday, April 25, and Sunday, April 27, RCSD responded to 6 stolen vehicles in the Region 3 area alone (Monticello Road, Fairfield Road, and Wilson Blvd area).

Five out of the six vehicles that were stolen, were stolen using the owner’s keys.

The public is reminded by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department to help protect their belongings by locking their vehicle and not leaving their keys in the car.
