RCSD: Deputies arrest security guard after Two Notch Road shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies have arrested a security guard after a shooting earlier this month, say RCSD.

Deputies say on April 2, they received reports of a shooting at “My House” bar on Two Notch Road.

Investigators say Marcus Thomas, who worked as a security guard denied the victim access to the bar.

When the victim began to leave, Thomas fired several shots in their direction hitting the victim’s car.

The victim was not injured.

Thomas was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, said Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
