Congresswoman Nancy Mace announced early Thursday morning that she would be joining Vice President JD Vance and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin in their tour of Nucor Steel.

According to a release from Mace’s office, the visit to Nucor Steel in Berkeley County displays the Trump Administration’s focus on putting South Carolina workers, manufacturers, and families first.

“Our state is leading the way in rebuilding America’s industrial strength, and Nucor Steel is a perfect example of the grit, determination, and excellence that defines South Carolina,” said Mace in a prepared statement. “This is about South Carolina jobs, South Carolina steel, and South Carolina’s strength. Today we are standing shoulder to shoulder with Vice President Vance to bring South Carolina’s manufacturing power to the national stage.”

South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette will also be in attendance.
