Sumter Police searching for Orangeburg County woman accused of using counterfeit bills

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is searching for an Orangeburg County woman who is wanted on charges after counterfeit bills were used to purchase items at local businesses, according to police.
Warrants were issued this week for Destiny Michelle Angela Smith-King on charges of obtaining goods by false pretenses (value less than $2,000), said Sumter Police.
Anyone who sees her or knows where she is should call Sumter Police Department at 803-436-2700.
Businesses also are asked to report possible transactions with counterfeit cash to law enforcement.
