SC Department of Public Health urges people to be prepared during hurricane season

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– This week is Hurricane Preparedness Week, but Atlantic hurricane season officially begins June 1st.

The South Carolina Department of Public Health (SCDPH) is urging you to be prepared.

Some of those steps include, developing an evacuation plan, stocking up on disaster supplies, and document all of your significant possessions for insurance purposes.
