CCSO: Deputies arrest 18-year-old after finding modified gun, illegal drugs

 

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Calhoun County deputies have arrested an 18-year-old who was out on bond for manslaughter, say CCSO.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says investigators received information and videos of 18-year-old Elijah Hickson posing with firearms with “Glock switches”, as well as illegal narcotics. 

Based on information gathered during the investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed at Hickson’s home.

Investigators say Hickson was out on bond for manslaughter and traffic related charges from Orangeburg County.

During the search he was found to be in possession of a stolen and modified Glock, along with illegal narcotics, according to CCSO.

Hickson was charged with possession of a machine gun, possession of a stolen pistol, PWID of marijuana, and his bond was denied.
