Sumter county deputies arrest man for fatal Wednesday shooting

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies have arrested a man for a fatal shooting on Wednesday, said the sheriff’s office.

According to investigators,  44-year-old Michael Dow broke into Robert Burleson’s home on Dink Street and shot him during a dispute on May 7.

Dow is charged with murder, first degree burglary, trafficking cocaine and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

He’s being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
