Columbia-Richland firefighters responded to deadly Gadsden fire

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland firefighters responded to a deadly house fire in Gadsden on Sunday, May 11.

According to investigators, firefighters arrived at South Goodwin Circle and found a single-wide mobile home that was fully involved.

They found one person dead inside, and the Richland County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the victim.

No other injuries were reported.

The Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
