135 new jobs coming to the Midlands

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– 135 new jobs are coming to the Midlands.
On Tuesday, May 13, the Governor’s Office announced Mega Metal, a copper wire manufacturer, has selected Fairfield County as the location for its first South Carolina operation.
The decision brings with it an investment of $34 million.
Officials say operations are expected to be online in September of this year.
