Murder suspect accused of killing North Carolina woman appears in court Tuesday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The man accused of shooting and killing a North Carolina woman during a home invasion in Columbia was in court on Tuesday, May 13.

Alexander Dickey was at his scheduled bond hearing this morning.

According to police, Dickey shot and killed 22-year-old Logan Federico after breaking into a home on Cypress Street earlier this month.

Columbia Police says Dickey will remain at the Lexington County Detention Center on charges filed by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department until a General Sessions Court bond hearing regarding the Columbia PD’s investigation.
