Orangeburg Co. deputies make seventh arrest deadly motel shooting

Orangeburg, SC (WOLO) — In Orangeburg County, a seventh suspect is in custody Tuesday in connection to a deadly motel shooting in the area. Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Tuesday that 17-year-old Carlos Esaw faces Murder charges in the death of 34-year-old Samson Green from a shooting that took place back in April.

Investigators say Green was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds outside of the Crown Inn on Bamberg Road. Six other suspects were previously arrested after being linked to the shooting and are facing charges ranging from Murder to Accessory after the Fact.

Orangeburg County Deputies are continuing to look for any other suspects involved in the incident and are asking anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers at 1888-CRIME-SC.
