The South Carolina Dept. of Public Safety (SCDPS) is asking for public input about the agency in order to maintain standards of the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).

An online portal for public comment will be available for entries until July 21.

Any public feedback on social media platforms or sent to the SCDPS inbox will not be submitted through the portal.

The feedback will allow for officials to support the improvement of professional excellence.

The portal will close on July 21. If you have feedback about the agency and any of its law enforcement divisions, including the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the South Carolina State Transport Police and the South Carolina Bureau of Protective Services, public comment can be submitted here.
