Sesame Street coming to Netflix

(CNN)– We can tell you a new way to get to Sesame Street, and that will be through Netflix.

That’s after the show’s producer, Sesame Workshop reached a deal with the streamer.

The move comes after Warner Brothers Discovery decided not to renew a five-year deal for the show for its streaming service “HBO Max.”   

The Netflix deal calls for new episodes with Big Bird, Cookie Monster and the gang to debut on PBS stations and on the PBS Kids app on the same day they’re released on Netflix.
