Infant surrendered under Safe Haven Act

Officials say the baby boy was born April 7th and weighed 10lbs. 8.8 ounces.

Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– According to the Department of Social Services Officials with Prisma Health Richland accepted an infant surrendered under Daniel’s Law on Wednesday.

Officials say the baby boy was born April 7th and weighed 10lbs. 8.8 ounces.

DSS says the baby has been placed in a licensed foster home.

A placement hearing will take place July 16th at Richland Co. Family Court.
