Memorial Day 2025 events
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Memorial Day is not all about fun in the sun. There are several events that are scheduled for around the Midlands this weekend to remember the brave men and women who have given their lives for our country.
Monday morning, May 26, Fort Jackson will hold a Memorial Day ceremony at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
The Town of Chapin will also hold a ceremony at Town Hall at 10 a.m. Monday morning, May 26.
There will be a Memorial Day event to honor fallen soldiers at the South Congaree Arena with state Sen. Carlisle Kennedy as the master of ceremonies at 3 p.m.
