SCDOT: Night-time closures of I-20 Eastbound off ramp at Broad River Road to happen

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT says there will be temporary night-time closures of the I-20 Eastbound off-ramp at the Broad River Road interchange (Exit 65) beginning on Wednesday, May 28 at 11 p.m.

A schedule of the detours can be found below:

• Wednesday, May 28, at 11 p.m. – Thursday, May 29, at 5 a.m.
• Thursday, May 29, at 11 p.m. – Friday, May 30, at 5 a.m.
• Friday, May 30, at 11 p.m. – Saturday, May 31, at 5 a.m.

As part of the closures, traffic patterns will shift to allow crews to work, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.

Drivers will be detoured to Monticello Road (SC 215) and back to I-20 Westbound where they will be able to access Exit 65 to Broad River Road.

Also, drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving near work zones.
