Local Living: SCSM’s Friday late nights, Lake Murray Palooza, Congressman Clyburn hosting annual fish fry

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the state museum will stay open late on select Fridays throughout the Summer.
You can explore the exhibits and watch films featuring costumes from the Disney Heroes and Villains Costume exhibit.
The museum also announced two upcoming shows , “Sea Lion 4D,” starting on Saturday and the planetarium experience, “Into America’s Wild” debuting in June.
Lake Murray will have an outdoor music festival this weekend.
Lake Murray Palooza will feature country, rock n’ roll and reggae music.
The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, and continues on Sunday, June 1.
General admission is $25 dollars and all proceeds go toward the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
Congressman Jim Clyburn is hosting his 33rd world famous annual fish fry on Friday May 30.
It starts at 7 p.m. at the Edventure Children’s Museum on Gervais Street.
There will be music, drinks, games, and plenty of fried fish.
Former Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Walz will be one of the guests.
It’s free and open to the public.
