United Airlines, JetBlue team up for cross-airline perks
(CNN)– United Airlines is partnering with JetBlue airways. The airlines announced an agreement this morning called “Blue Sky.”
It would allow frequent flyers to earn and use miles on each other’s airline for most flights.
And frequent flyer benefits, including priority boarding, free baggage and preferred seats will be offered as part of the deal.
The program would also allow for tickets to be sold on each other’s websites and apps. More details will be announced later this year.
The alliance still needs to be approved by regulators.
