Keishan Scott projected winner for State House District 50 race

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Another special election ended with an upset on Tuesday, June 3.

According to the South Carolina Elections Commission, Democrat Keishan Scott of Lee County is the projected winner for the State House District 50 race.

Scott beat Republican William Oden of Sumter with 71% of the vote to oden’s 29% percent.

This comes after Former Democratic State Representative will wheeler resigned his seat in January.
