Camden boat ramps reopen after rescue in Wateree River

CAMDEN, S.C. (WOLO)– All Camden area boat ramps are back open following a water rescue in the Wateree River on Wednesday, June 4.

Kershaw County Fire Services say they found the victim in the river between highway 1, and I-20.

Officials were able to rescue the victim, who is in stable condition.

Crews from Camden and Lugoff Fire Departments, and Kershaw EMS also responded to the incident.
