Ford recalls over 550k vehicles
(CNN)– Ford has recalled more than 550,000 vehicles because of airbag and structural issues that could increase the risk of a crash or injury.
The first recall covers more than 63,000 Ford Mavericks that may have an airbag indicator light that can become loose or dislodged.
Those inside may not know if the passenger airbag is on or off, increasing the risk of injury.
The second recall is for 492,000 Ford Explorers.
That issue is for the driver and front passenger b-pillar door trim that may detach while driving.
The recalls cover model years 2016, 2017, and 2025.
