ORANGRBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A woman accused of operating an illegal retirement home where seniors were living in what police called deplorable conditions has been found guilty on two additional charges.

According to the SC Attorney General’s Office, Shaneima Montgomery pleaded guilty Wednesday to the unauthorized practice of law and obtaining property by false pretenses.

In May she was sentenced to two years probation for charges related to the unlawful care facility including neglect of a vulnerable adult and operating a care facility without a license.
