Five injured following afternoon collision in Forest Acres

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– Five people were injured in an accident that snarled traffic in Forest Acres this afternoon.

Forest Acres Police say it happened on Thursday, June 12, near the intersection of Forest Drive and Clemson Avenue.

According to officials, a taxi cab hit a tree, and an SUV was also involved.

Police say five were taken to the hospital from the scene with minor injuries including two children.
