S.C. Civil Rights Museum to host ‘Juneteenth Golf Tourney’

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The South Carolina Civil Rights Museum will host its inaugural Juneteenth Golf Tournament in Orangeburg later this month. South Carolina State University is closely tied to both the Museum and the tournament.

The event will raise funds to support the museum’s operations and continued development as part of the City of Orangeburg’s railroad corner revitalization.

Proceeds from the tournament will support the museum’s mission to identify, interpret, preserve and present key historical materials related to African American struggles and achievements in South Carolina.
