Sumter PD searches for missing man

Sumter, SC (WOLO) — The Sumter Police Department is hoping someone can help them locate a man reported missing tonight. According to police, the family members of 29 year-old Donald Williams say they have been searching for him since Thursday evening. He was last seen around 3:30p.m. after leaving Prisma Health Tuomey.
Police say he refused a ride to his Ruth Street home shortly after leaving the hospital according to authorities.
Williams is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 180 lbs. and has black hair with twists, a full beard and brown eyes. He may have been wearing a blue shirt, black skull cap and gray sweatpants.
