Columbia City Council expected to vote on conversion therapy

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — The City Council is set to once again take up the future of conversion therapy in Columbia Tuesday.

According to the Council’s agenda they will hold a vote on whether or not to repeal an ordinance banning the practice.

Conversion therapy is a form of therapy aimed at trying to change someone’s sexual orientation or gender identity.
