Columbia Water continuing improvements to sanitary sewer system

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Water is continuing improvements to its sanitary sewer system in the area of S. Beltline Boulevard, Plowden Road, and Loquat Drive, said officials.

The work required the closure of S. Beltline Boulevard at Loquat Drive around May 27.

Columbia Water anticipates having all impacted roads reopened by Saturday, June 21, as utility work is progressing on S. Beltline Boulevard in the area of Plowden Road and Loquat Drive.

Drivers should continue to seek alternate routes via Rosewood Drive or I-77 in the interim.
