RCSD: Verbal altercation between family members leads to shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A man has been arrested after a fatal shooting over the weekend, says RCSD.
RCSD says deputies responded around 7 p.m. in the 4300 block of Candlelite Drive after a report of a shooting on Saturday, June 14.
At the scene, a deputy found a female victim lying in the grass next to a vehicle.
CPR was started by the deputy until EMS arrived and took the victim to a hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
Deputies learned that there had been a verbal altercation between family members and Dexter Fuller who is accused of shooting the victim, left the scene.
While RCSD deputies were still conducting their investigation, Fuller returned to the scene and was placed under arrest.
Fuller was charged with murder and possession of weapon during a violent crime and taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
