SCDOT closes Forts Pond Road in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) says Forts Pond Road will be closed and detoured due to a washout on a dam spillway.

Due to the closure, a signed detour has been put in place.

SCDOT is working with other state agencies to get the road repaired, say officials.

Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.
