Battle of the Badges Blood Drive 2025

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Wednesday, June 18, local first responders came together to announce the 14th annual “Battle of the Badges” blood drive.

Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition that challenges police officers, firefighters and sheriff’s deputies to find out which department can donate the most units of blood.

Friends, family, and community members are urged to give blood and vote for their favorite agency.

The blood drive is next Friday, June 27.

Red Cross officials say all donors will receive a $15 Amazon gift card.
