Columbia Police arrest man in connection with N. Main Street gas station shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police say they are investigating a Tuesday night shooting.

Investigators say they responded to the Mobil Gas Station on North Main just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17.

Authorities say a male victim was shot in the lower body.

Police also say his injury was not fatal.

47-year-old Chrishuan Glover was arrested in connection with the shooting.

He is being charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime & possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Glover was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center (ASGDC).

It appears that the shooting was an isolated incident between acquaintances, say CPD.
