Bond denied for Sumter County man accused of attempted murder, assault

Deputies arrested 62-year-old Mark McCoy on Sunday on charges of Attempted Murder and Assault charges.

Sumter Co., SC (WOLO) — A Sumter County man is in custody after being accused of shooting and injuring two people in the area.
Deputies arrested 62-year-old Mark McCoy on Father’s Day, June 15, on charges of attempted murder and assault.

McCoy is being held at the Sumter County Detention Center after being denied bond.

Investigators say the case is still under investigation.
