City’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement host “Coolin’ with Cola” event
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– June is National Gun Safety Awareness Month and the City of Columbia is hosting several family events to keep the community informed.
The Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement partnered with Columbia Police and Columbia Fire to host their “Coolin’ with Cola” event on Friday, June 20, at Lorick Park.
The event focused on celebrating community, promoting safety, and strengthening neighborhood connections.
Kids who participated got to see live police demonstrations, check out a fire truck, and were even treated to some free ice cream.
