Kershaw County teacher charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor
CAMDEN, SC (WOLO)– According to inmate records at the Al Cannon Detention Center in Charleston, John Macleod was arrested Wednesday and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor under 16.
Records show he was also charged with disseminating obscene material to a minor, criminal solicitation of a minor, and sexual exploitation of a minor.
A spokesperson for Kershaw Co. Schools says Macleod is an employee of the district and served as a teacher’s assistant this past school year.
As of June 22, Macleod is listed as a teacher on the Continuous Learning Center’s website out of Kershaw County.
