Value of WNBA teams rise to $3.5 billion

(CNN)– The WNBA just experienced a boost in value.

The 13-franchises in the league are now collectively worth three-and-a-half billion dollars, according to “Sportico.”

That’s an overall 180% hike compared to 2024.

Although it’s the newest team in the league, the Golden State Valkyries is the WNBA’s most valuable, worth $500 million.

The New York Liberty is in the runner-up slot at $420 million.

And the Indiana Fever with Superstar Caitlin Clark at point guard came in third at $335 million.
