RCSD searching for woman in connection with incident at ASGDC

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a woman in connection with an incident at ASGDC, said deputies.

The sheriff’s department said 41-year-old Tara Schmidt is wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into an incident that happened at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

The incident was reported to RCSD on May 19.

Schmidt is being charged with misconduct in office.
