Firefighters control Faraway Drive house fire, says CRFD

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department says firefighters controlled a Thursday afternoon house fire.
Firefighters responded to a house fire on Faraway Drive after receiving a call shortly after 3 p.m.
When they arrived to the home, smoke and fire could been seen coming from the front of the property.
All occupants made it out safely and there were no injuries.
The home was left with significant damages, according to CRFD.
Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into what caused the fire.
