Sumter Police searching for wanted man in connection with burglary

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is searching for a wanted man in connection with burglary-2nd degree, said officers.

Officers said 36-year-old Rasean Javon Davis is wanted in connection with a break-in at a Broad Street business the night of June 23.

A warrant indicates a man who was later identified as Davis was captured by video surveillance kicking in the door of the business located in the 400 block before taking and walking away with an undisclosed item.

Davis is described as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs about 180 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said Davis is considered a homeless/transient.
